We Baked a Cake






Well, technically my wifey baked it... I just bought the butter and self-rising flour and helped a bit...

It's a Victoria sponge cake...

Wifey said it's supposedly layered with cream or jam in between... but this is just us testing the oven... So, the next cake would be more grand...

I was actually fascinated by how the oven works... I've never seen this kind of oven before... Instead of using electricity, it uses the fire or heat from the cooking stove...

By the way, the attempt was successful... The cake is delicious... :-)

I wonder what will she bake next...

Movie Marathon...

After seeing the new list of GSC's new movie releases, I felt that I'm going to watch all of the movies, I have to do a marathon... and which I did last Saturday with my girl... We planned to watch 4 movies in a row; Dance Flick, Aliens in the Attic, Orphan and I Love You Beth Cooper... But we missed Dance Flick due to excessive sleeping... :-P Quite funny... and the girl above (Ashley Boettcher) who played Hannah was awesomely cute... There's indeed something wrong with Esther when she killed everyone who she saw as a threat... A very good thriller movie for the big amount of suspense... A typical teenage movie yet quite entertaining... Quite funny :-P Next? I really wanted to watch District 9...

Madagascar 3 : Europe's Most Wanted (2012)

"In order to get home, we will come up with an act that will blow everyone away!" Alex ( Ben Stiller ), Marty ( Chris Rock ), Gloria ( Jada Pinkett Smith ), Melman ( David Schwimmer ) and the rest of the gang were still struggling to get back to the place they truly belong - New York! As they were on their way, they were chased by a very persistent and determined hunter, Captain Chantel DuBois ( Frances McDormand )...
